H&M’s 2013 Design Winner – H&M’s annual design prize
for talent on the rise, the H&M Design Award,
has picked 27 year-old graduate from the Royal Academy
of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Minju Kim, as its 2013 winner.
The designer was afforded the opportunity to design
nine clothing pieces and two accessories for
a line that will be available in select H&M stores
starting on October 17th. It will also be available
at Opening Ceremony in New York,
Los Angeles and London.

The lookbook images star French model Anais Pouliot
and Marikka Juhler shot by Benjamin Vnuk.
Kim’s designs bring manga to life with playful and
colorful designs including dresses and sweaters.
“These pieces by Minju Kim show H&M’s commitment
to the future of design and to helping move
fashion forward,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson,
H&M’s Creative Head of Design.
